On Sept. 14, the Central Michigan Chippewas played against the Akron Zips at Kelly Shorts Stadium in front of 18,000. The Chippewas have improved to 2-1 on the year after dominating the Zips by a score of 45-24. The Chippewas will remain undefeated at home (2-0). Central Michigan will travel to Miami Gardens, Florida to play the Miami Hurricanes Sept. 21.
