Tycho performed at The Fillmore in Detroit on Monday, September 23rd. Tycho has been one of my favorite bands since I saw them for the first time at Electric Forest music festival in 2017. They have such a beautiful ring to their music. They are considered chillwave, intelligent dance music, downtempo and ambient music. They have two EP’s and five albums. Their latest album named “Weather” was released this July.
The band Poolside opened up for them. I saw Poolside at Okeechobee music festival in 2018. They bring a very fun and beachy vibe to the stage.
Tycho’s set was absolutely beautiful. They used the most euphoric visuals and it flowed very naturally with their music. Saint Sinner sings vocals on some of Tycho’s tracks.
