RCU students worship together at The Offering
By Ruvarashe Mutambara

RCU Worship hosted The Offering, an intimate time of worship and reflection at the center auditorium on Oct. 1, 2026.
The evening was led by RCU’s worship interns, Giavanna Montgomery and Aurora Jacobs, along with Jacob Thomas on the piano.

The group focused on the blood of Jesus as the evening's theme, urging students in attendance to never take Christ’s ultimate sacrifice for granted.
“Tonight we dwelled on what the Lord did for us by sending Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and how that inspires us to live today,” Giavanna said.
Songs sung include “Nothing but the Blood,” originally composed by Robert Lowry and “The Blood” by Bethel Music, which reminds Christians that there is no need to perform or strive for perfection because of Jesus.
Mary Griffin, a sophomore elementary education major, shares why she loves The Offering, saying that “it’s just such a wonderful opportunity for young adults to come together and praise Jesus… and it’s something I look forward to every month.”
The Offering is hosted monthly and information for future dates can be found on Warrior Hub, during chapel announcements, or by inquiring with RCU Worship’s interns.
