RU starts Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter

More than 20 Rochester University student-athletes attended the first meeting of a new Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter on Sunday, Feb. 16.

Timothy Morton, FCA area director, attended the event to inform the students about FCA.

FCA is an international non-profit Christian sports ministry with a mission "to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church." Its vision is "to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes,” according to the organization’s website.

Jacob Mohn, a sophomore wrestler from Roseville, spoke at the meeting, along with Evan Green, RU director of intercultural and spiritual life
